@TiMB  @ian21 I'm trying to keep pace, but with CP3 being out for Blaine is helping me distance myself for 1st in the division and second overall. Top 3 teams are pretty firmly known.

 @ian21 My team changes weekley. Trying to find the right balance. I pulled Nic and Bledsoe today to preserve the 3pt% lead Redick's ridiculous day got me. 

I really need Frank to start playing Drummond more. That'd make a difference.

 @blazeraddict  @Dan_tm  @ian21 I want more than a backup, I just don't expect it. Dunno if I wrote it here or elsewhere but he doesn't seem like an instinctual player to me - not a natural rebounder, shot-blocker etc. My worry is that his numbers in that regard were inflated due to being absurdly tall rather than having any elite skill he can translate over.

Even early Chandler and Biedrins showed skills they could hang their hat on.

 @TiMB  @Dan_tm  @ian21 Disagree with the conclusion (I want him to be an above-average starter, Chandler-lite or pre-yips Biedrens would be the most apt comps in my mind), but 100% agree on the problems

 @Dan_tm  @ian21 I don't think Meyers is stupid. Maturity is an issue, as evidenced by him wanting to bulk up his beach muscles rather than his legs as advised by the trainers. I see some reasons to have hope, but I still set my expectation as him being a good backup.

 @ian21  @TiMB I'm worried that he might be terminally stupid, making him hard to teach. He may also have some stubbornness that makes it worse and doesn't endear him to the coaches. 

 @TiMB that is the way I see it too.  So what if giing him 20 a game costs us a few games. 

 @ian21 I mean, he's terribad on D atm. So's Hickson but JJ rebounds I guess. I'd start Meyers tbh, just tell him to focus on screening, boarding and staying engaged on D. I have no knowledge of what he's being asked to do or maybe what he's doing to cost himself minutes but with this team, not giving a talented rook 20+ a game seems absurd on the face of it.

 @TiMB  it seems odd he doesn't get more minutes in general.  I wonder if he just blows off Scott when he is telling him what to do or something?  It just seems there is something else there.  

 @blazeraddict  @Dan_tm I'd take a healthy EWill over him as our SG prospect, but then I'm insane. The concern with Archie is that he's struggled with the ball out of his hands since Harrow has been put in at point. With Lillard and Nic, you don't need a guy who dominates the ball as a starter, just someone competent with it and able to drive/cut inside and draw fouls.
