well based on my glance at the box score I think you have to start discussing where Meyers ranks among the all time great offensive rebounders. I mean 1 every 3 minutes is insane.

It's looking less and less likely, but I'll give him his second season to prove it.
@Tony K. @brandonmitchell He just hasn't shown any indication of being the shooter Hill is. CJ Watson is still possible but also unlikely.
@Tony K. @brandonmitchell I think he will be able to do that given time (which he has to earn, obviously). low 40's FG% and low 30's 3pt% this year seem likely. Thing is it's a long way from there to Hill, shooting wise.

Baseball aside, how's tonight's game in Phoenix gone so far? By the box score and what little I've seen online in the past couple minutes, it's been a whooping.
@Tony K. Whooping isn't the phrase. It has felt like a summer league game between two good summer league teams (both of which will be annihilated when they start playing NBA teams for real...)
@timbo That sounds about right, although Phoenix is better suited to win 30 games than Portland.

@Tony K. They went up about 12 early on and it's been back and forth since. All the guards have looked terrible, Lillard and Nolan in particular. Meyers and Freeland have looked decent. Batum pretty good.
Nationals game is terrifying.
@TiMB Taking in your comments about the guards, it really does look like Ronnie Price will be to Terry Stotts what Steve Blake was to Nate McMillan.

@Tony K. It's bloody unfortunate but yeah, seems like it. Nolan certainly can't run an offense (not that Price can but being older seems to qualify you for responsibilities you can't handle in the NBA) and Lillard will be up and down.
