Freeman brought up a good point in his piece - Wes threw a pretty darn perfect entry pass to LA with not much time to do it in a pretty high pressure situation. He doesn't get flustered, that guy. Must be a side effect of being hilariously over confident in your own abilities.

I like how he's not a jerk about it, too. Don't know if he's the only one, though. Deng (though not deserving of allstar status), George, Jrue, Kyrie, KD, Timmay and Tony all strike me as likely to be non-douchy about game winners.

@jakesnake99 Kyrie was pretty awesome about his game winner the other day. Casual 30 footer, turn around smile and nod your head. Must be nice knowing you're ridiculously good.

@timbo 300 level was probably barely over half full. Maybe 2/3.
@timbo At the end of the game they stated attendance was 18k and change. It was good for a laugh.

@dario argento The guy is a top 10 rebounder, league-wide. Exactly how big do you think you're gonna have to come up in the draft to replace that? Correct answer is that he is one of THREE bigs that this team is gonna need. Leonard is pretty clearly a couple years away. They need to keep him AND come up with another quality big.
@timbo @dario argento How do you see us keeping him after this season (contract, years etc) given that we can't promise him a starting gig or big minutes long term? What do you think happens to his production when he's not playing for a contract and he doesn't have as prominent a role?
@MattBRC @TiMB @jakesnake99 The biggest thing that will prevent him from getting in the neighborhood of 10 million is bird rights. We're the only ones who can easily give him that kind of money.
I don't know how the rules work in his situation. Will he be eligible for a sign and trade this summer? If so, that might be more appealing to other teams than trading before the deadline.
@MattBRC @jakesnake99 You haven't answered the why question. Kris Humphries is a poor on D/good on the boards PF and he just got a 2/24 deal. Looking just at the numbers, JJ has been more impressive than Hump was last season.
@TiMB @jakesnake99 kind of my point. I think he'll want that kind of money but he'll get less. Probably not as much less as 4-5 million but less.

@TiMB @jakesnake99 me personally I wouldn't pay him a ton, but I think he's going to get more than you'd want to pay him. If we were paying 4-5 million a year I could easily justify that.
@MattBRC @jakesnake99 How much would you pay him? I don't agree with the idea you need him in any particular lineup, because I simply don't think he has a positive impact but regardless, what deal do you think he's gonna be accepting come July?

@TiMB @jakesnake99 Honestly I think he's going to come back for less than he probably could get paid somewhere else. Maybe he doesn't start but I think you need someone like him in the lineup, especially with how lethargic the bench is.
@jakesnake99 @MattBRC Reverting to Cleveland JJ would be pretty concerning with what he's likely to be paid.
I hate his game, that's pretty well established, but the biggest reason to get an asset for him now is that I don't think keeping him around is in the best interest of either side.

@MattBRC yeah, I think there's reason for concern, but I don't think he'd revert to Sacto JJ.
@TiMB @timbo @dario argento While I get that point I've never really bought into him only playing hard for a contract. I think he's actually happy here and his play is pretty indicative of that.

@brandonmitchell LA pretty clearly travels on that tying 3, but that never gets called even if it wasn't the last minute.
