@TheTinfoil Problem is his exorbitant cap hold of $5.8 million on the QO. So that probably won't happen.
@TheTinfoil No, since that would be a 1 year deal. He might hold out for some multi-year deal from someone. But in theory we could give it to him and rescind it if something comes up that requires to waive the cap hold on him (and Hickson).
More likely he doesn't get it, and we hope he's still there to sign him with the mini-MLE or any remaining cap space.
@Norsktroll isn't the cap hold only the kind of things uber nerds care about? I mean, if we offer it, wouldn't conventional wisdom say he'll sign it pretty quick, ending months of people talking about the mythical cap hold? Granted, I know nothing, so there's that.
